Feeling very emotional tonight.
I miss my friends sooooo much. Especially my Ah bread [ Brendalene Tan ] my bestest fren. Hadnt seen her for donkey years. More than a year I guess. I remembered the last time was the very first day of my poly term. We used to spent every single day together but due to the busy schedule and crash of timetables, we hardly get to meet up after Os.
Every since I join Citi, my lifestyle changes completely. My fortnightly supper with Teddy, shopping trips with Qiuyan, fortnightly mambo nites with Michelle, and frequent outings with the girls were all canceled. Everything changes except that I get to spent every day with Baby Lim.
All of sudden I starts to questioned, if I am working too hard.
I love my job. Happy that I am utilizing most of my time to carve out my career. Very soon I will be able to clear off my entire financial burden, starts contributing significantly to my family and even buy a car with Baby Lim, yet am I giving up too much of my life?
I guess I should starts learning how to manage my time properly.
I will balance up my family life, social life and my work.

I wondered if anybody misses my blog entries. If yes pls leave me a tag to motivates me to keep on blogging despite my busy schedule.
I have never been so devoted to my job for the past 21 years. I wondered if I have become a workaholic like my manager. I work 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month, almost 12 hours a day. But I am loving it =)
I love the culture in Citibank, it makes me a better employee. The people here are so number driven, fun loving and friendly. Thou we work really hard for our numbers, we had our fair share of fun too. We had a gathering at Madam Wong last Saturday and you can never guess most of the ‘bar top dancers’ are married with kids. It makes me wonder how they can juggle this job with kids and family and manage to look so young and energetic and wild.
The other reason why I am so devoted and happy with my job is because I have Baby Lim by my side. Thou we have more friction nowadays, I am still so glad that we have the opportunity to work together. No matter how tired work is, deep in my heart I know that I am not alone. I dont have to worry about not spending enough time with him, cos I see him everyday!
One of the other reasons is my Manager. I swear she is the best manager I have meet. There was once I requested to leave road show early before I go for my roadshow as I wasn’t feeling too well. She suggests me to go home after my submission and even offer to send me home from office. She makes special arrangement for my direct line extension to be at the seat I requested which is beside baby Lim =) . there was once I was late for road show for an hour because being the big prawn head I thought the road show starts at 12 when it starts at 11. She didn’t scold me and even bought me a drink. There are so many nice things about her, in short I just love her =)
Anw i have been eyeing for this braclet, still considering if i should buy it. Its a limited edition from Swarovski Crystal, Mickey Mania Bracelet.

I signed my appointment letter today.
My case is a special case because I am not 21 yet !!! My team manager hafta make lots of effort, go thru various department and paper work before they found out a way to accommodate me. And that is to put my payroll under the agency before I turn 21. Which means for the next 3 months I wun be getting Citi payslip, no Citibank medisave account for me and I cant have their corporate mobile lines until I am officially 21 !
Nevertheless I really appreciate the effort she makes and of cos the cooperation of the other staff from various department. They actually solve this whole issue in less than a day and this is their very first such case! Their working capabilities can really be demonstrated thru this incident.
I am grateful for the extra mile they are willingly to walk for me. Makes me feels really good and appreciated. I will definitely try my best to serve Citibank.

It had been sometime since I last edited my photos. Been struggling to explore photoshop, finally I gave up and seek help from sis. Bling, here is my first piece of artwork using photoshop. Hope is still not that bad thou far from standard.
Had a rather fruitful day today.
Supposed to start work at Citibank today but there was a slight delay from the HR department so I have another 3 – 4 days REST Days !!!
Went woodlands market for a delicious bowl of prawn noodles this morning. At around 11.45am, still morning right? Hurhur . Anw who says only restaurants like Crystal Jade or Jack Place serve good food? Our local market serves equally good food and at a much more economically price!
Proceed to his house to play with his nephew and pig for a few more hours before I went online. Saw our dear friend Stanley. And when 2 equally bored fren meet online, what can they do? Gossip and play online games! First we tried playing the game Hexic than we move to a very interesting topic.
Does image matters in doing sales?
I believe a sales person should dress smartly, presentable and if possible look Rich and Successful. Man preferably with a Mont Blanc pen, Tag Hauer watch and ladies with a LV or Gucci Handbag. I believe that first impression is very important but off cause followed by a good customer service.
Actually that is one of my dream. By the age of 25 I hope to be a successful, rich looking sales person. But of cos cannot only look rich, must be rich!! Four more years to realize this dream =)
Anw after our '' Debating '' session Jonathan and I went to Malaysia. Actually we walk to Malaysia. He lives a stone throw away from the custom. Which means that it is actually nearer to go to JB than to Orchard. Unfortunately my dear Bf doesnt like the procedures of going thru the custom, consuming meals in Jb and even watching movies there !!!!!! Don ask me why, he is weird!! We only went in for like 2 hours and came bag with a black pouch for his office wear and a cute butterfly brooch for myself.
Anticipating the steam boat dinner tml with my family, grandmother, brother GF and Jonathan!! Wonder how our first family gathering with the 2 new comers will be? Hurhur~ Oh I forgot to mention that its my mum 49th Bday tml !!
After the dinner will be joining the girls for a wild night out at Gorden Penthouse. Please turn on the clubbing spirit this time round~ dun end up like the previous failed attempt at China Black~ totally Obasan style !!!
